About

I'm Zeyad — a backend-first engineer who ships.

Results-driven Software Engineer with 2+ years of experience specializing in backend development and scalable system design. Built and optimized systems supporting thousands of users, and contributed to open-source projects at Meta. Experienced in high-quality APIs and automation that improve performance and reliability.

I’m currently a Software Development Engineer at noon. Previously at Siemens EDA I built cloud-native licensing and entitlement services, and at Elmawkaa I shipped a remarketing system serving 17,000+ users. I’ve also contributed open source at Meta (Mariana Trench) and Solana Labs.

Alongside full-time work I take select freelance engagements — APIs, SaaS backends, and product builds when the client needs end-to-end delivery.
